Summary

In the apartment, Jinwoo's sister Jinah wakes briefly from a hazy, troubling dream. A visit to the bathroom shows her the dinner she fixed sitting untouched on the table, and she wonders whether her brother is still at work or maybe seeing someone, a thought she dismisses with a chuckle. As she drifts off again, what she hopes for is simple: that the guardian-teacher meeting at her school finds her brother back at the apartment in time. Elsewhere, within the Penalty Zone, Jinwoo slices through dozens of centipedes, climbing levels and fully recovering his health.

Key Events

Combing through the area, Jinwoo finds a dagger named Knight Killer that adds bonus damage versus armor, and he claims a telekinesis-style power called Ruler's Hand, which he earned by fighting Igris the Bloodred. With the penalty quest cleared, he is teleported into the throne room, where the knights now number ten times as many. Since slaying them yields no experience, he concludes they are summoned and that the Mages are the real objective. Spotting a Mage, he kills it with his new Dagger Toss skill, and every summoned knight collapses. He then finishes off the last three Mages.
