Chapter 36

Reaching the mouth of a C-Rank gate, Ahn Sangmin and Hyun Kichul find an odd assortment of hunters loafing around outside as though on a picnic. Han Song-Yi tells the pair the spot is off-limits, and they are taken aback to discover she counts as a hunter herself. Ahn pieces together that Sung Jinwoo is clearing the dungeon by himself, which only sharpens his determination to bring such a prize into the guild. The two start to depart but linger, quietly eavesdropping as Jinwoo and Yoo Jinho step out of the gate. Jinwoo requests a day off to handle a Job-Quest, so Jinho pushes back their booked gates before the team moves on.

Once the day wraps, Jinwoo says goodbye to his crew and is intercepted by Ahn and Kichul, who lay out their pitch for the White Tiger Guild. Across a cup of coffee, Ahn talks up their standing among Korea's elite outfits and dangles a payout twice what Yoojin Construction offered. The catch is that Jinwoo's existing arrangement runs to thirty billion won, roughly twenty four million dollars. Floored by a figure he never expected, Ahn admits he will have to seek sign-off before going any further.

This installment belongs to the Yoo Jinho Raid Party Arc and was adapted into Episode 10 of the anime. It marks the start of the White Tiger Guild's serious recruitment push, with Ahn beginning to grasp just how undervalued Jinwoo's solo capability is. The chapter sits in Volume 3 of the collected release.
