Draw Sword Guild

Known alternately as the Blade Guild, this Japanese organization held the title of the strongest guild in its home country and the second largest across Asia. At its peak it fielded eleven S-Rank hunters, an extraordinary concentration of top-tier strength that placed it among the most formidable forces on the continent.

The guild's dominance ended during the fourth raid on Jeju Island, where the Ant King cut down seven of its S-Ranks, among them Goto Ryuji, who led the guild and stood as its single most powerful member. With only four S-Ranks left standing afterward, the organization tumbled from its lofty position and lost the standing it had once commanded throughout Japan and Asia.

Leadership passed from Goto Ryuji, the original S-Rank fighter and master who died in the Jeju catastrophe, to Reiji Sugimoto, an S-Rank who took over as the new guild master. The fallen ranks included the S-Rank healer Akari Shimizu, the assassin Ippei Izawa, the mage Kei, and fighters Mari Ishida, Kenzo Tanaka, and Tatsumi Fujishima. Survivors among the S-Ranks include the fighters Atsushi Kumamoto, Kanae Tawata, and Minoru Hoshino. The novel never named or developed these S-Ranks, and the post of Vice-Guild Master, along with Reiji's role, exists only in the webtoon.
