10x Kamehameha

A vastly amplified version of the Kamehameha exclusive to Super Saiyan 4 Goku. As the name suggests, it carries ten times the destructive force of a standard Super Kamehameha and produces a distinctive crimson energy beam.

Absorption

A specialized ability that allows certain beings to merge other organisms into their own body, dramatically increasing their power and sometimes acquiring new abilities. Most famously used by Cell and Majin Buu, though each practitioner employs a different method.

Accel Dance

A coordinated team attack performed by Androids 17 and 18 where the siblings overwhelm their target with a relentless barrage of strikes before finishing with combined energy blasts.

Afterimage Technique

A high-speed movement technique where the user moves so quickly they leave behind a visible afterimage in their previous position, causing opponents to attack an empty space while the real fighter has already repositioned.

Android Barrier

An energy shield generated by Androids that forms a protective dome around the user, capable of deflecting or absorbing incoming attacks. The barrier draws on the Android's internal energy reactor rather than ki, making it sustainable for extended periods.

Autonomous Ultra Instinct

Autonomous Ultra Instinct is the perfected state of Ultra Instinct, where the user's body reacts to every threat without conscious thought. Every movement, whether offensive or defensive, happens automatically at optimal speed and efficiency without the mind needing to process or direct it.

Balloon Technique

A comedic defensive technique where Krillin inhales a massive amount of air to inflate his body like a balloon, slowing his fall and disrupting an opponent's timing.

Barrage Death Beam

A rapid-fire variant of Frieza's signature Death Beam where he unleashes a sustained volley of thin, piercing energy beams from his fingertip in quick succession.

Beerus Ball

An enormous sphere of destructive energy created by Beerus, the God of Destruction. True to its creator's title, the technique carries enough power to annihilate a planet and represents one of the most dangerous single attacks shown in the series.

Bending Kamehameha

A Kamehameha variant where the user controls the beam's trajectory after firing, curving it around obstacles or redirecting it to strike opponents who attempt to dodge.

Big Bang Attack

Vegeta's signature energy sphere attack, fired from an outstretched palm. A concentrated ball of ki that detonates with massive explosive force on impact, introduced immediately after Vegeta first achieved Super Saiyan.

Big Bang Kamehameha

A fusion technique combining Vegeta's Big Bang Attack with Goku's Kamehameha into a single overwhelming energy wave. Exclusive to Gogeta, it represents the combined fighting knowledge of both Saiyan warriors.

Big Tree Cannon

A powerful energy wave technique used by Trunks where he charges energy in both hands spread wide, then brings them together and fires with his index fingers pointed forward like a gun. The stance mirrors his father Vegeta's Final Flash charging pose.

Bionic Punisher

A devastating eye beam attack used by Dr. Gero's Android models. Twin lasers fire from both eyes simultaneously with enough concentrated power to destroy an entire city block.

Black Kamehameha

Goku Black's corrupted version of the Kamehameha, identifiable by its dark blue energy with a black core. It carries the same fundamental mechanics as the original but channels the twisted divine ki of a fallen Supreme Kai inhabiting a stolen Saiyan body.

Blades of Judgement

A divine ranged attack where Fused Zamasu fires a barrage of red energy blades from the halo behind his back. Each blade detonates on contact with the ground or a target, creating wide-area explosions.

Bluff Kamehameha

A fake Kamehameha performed by Gogeta that releases confetti and streamers instead of an energy beam. A deliberately comedic attack used to taunt and infuriate Omega Shenron during their battle in Dragon Ball GT.

Body Change

Body Change is the signature technique of Captain Ginyu, the leader of the Ginyu Force. It allows the user to swap their consciousness with that of another being, effectively stealing their body. Ginyu developed this ability as his primary means of acquiring power, using it throughout his career to inhabit increasingly stronger hosts. The technique played a pivotal role during the Namek Saga and returned during the Golden Frieza Saga in Super.

Body Manipulation

Body Manipulation is the ability to freely reshape one's own physical structure. Most prominently associated with Majin Buu and his various incarnations, this power allows the user to stretch, liquefy, split apart, and reform at will. The technique provides extraordinary flexibility in combat, turning the user's body into both a weapon and a defense simultaneously. Other users include Maji-Kayo, Baby, and the Meta-Cooler Core.

Brave Heat

A rush-and-blast combination attack used by Bardock where he charges flame-like ki energy in his fist, delivers a powerful punch, then follows up with a blazing energy wave. Originated in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Brave Sword Attack

A powerful swordsmanship technique performed with the legendary Brave Sword. The user delivers rapid slashes, charges the blade with ki energy, and finishes with a devastating high-speed cut. Associated primarily with Tapion from the film Wrath of the Dragon.

Break Cannon

Nappa's ultimate technique, a devastating energy wave fired directly from his mouth. He considers it his most powerful move, and it lives up to that billing with raw destructive force.

Bros. Kamehameha

A combined Kamehameha performed by brothers Gohan and Goten in their Super Saiyan forms, merging two separate beams into one devastating wave of energy.

Burning Attack

Future Trunks' signature technique, recognized by the elaborate rapid arm movements he performs before firing a powerful energy sphere from a diamond-shaped hand formation.

Buster Cannon

A powerful two-handed energy wave used by Future Trunks, performed by extending both arms forward and releasing a massive blast of concentrated ki.

Candy Beam

Majin Buu's bizarre signature ability, a beam fired from his head antenna that transforms any living target into candy or other sweets, which he then gleefully devours.

Chain Destructo Disc

An advanced version of Krillin's Destructo Disc that launches multiple razor-sharp energy discs in rapid succession, overwhelming targets who might dodge a single disc.

Cloning

A technique that creates physical duplicates of the user, splitting their power among the copies. Multiple fighters across the series use various forms of this ability.

Cocotte Zone

A dimensional barrier technique used by Pride Trooper Cocotte that creates a sealed-off pocket of space, trapping opponents or shielding the user from attack.

Continuous Energy Bullet

A rapid-fire barrage technique where the user launches dozens of small energy blasts in quick succession, saturating an area with explosive ki projectiles.

Continuous Kamehameha

A rapid-fire variant of the Kamehameha where the user fires multiple smaller Kamehameha blasts in quick succession rather than one sustained beam.

Copy Ability

The ability to perfectly replicate an opponent's technique after witnessing it once. Several fighters across the series demonstrate this talent, most notably Goku and Cell.

Crasher Cannon

Cooler's signature energy attack, a powerful beam fired from his extended hand that demonstrates his refined fighting style compared to his younger brother Frieza.

Crazy Finger Beam

A rapid-fire variant of the Death Beam where Frieza fires a wild barrage of thin laser beams from all ten fingers simultaneously, creating a storm of piercing energy.

Crazy Fist

A deceptive fighting technique where Goku mimics animal movements and sounds to confuse opponents, creating openings for devastating counterattacks.

Crusher Ball

Jeice's signature attack from the Ginyu Force, a fiery red energy sphere that he hurls at opponents like a deadly fastball, befitting his sporty persona.

Dark Dragon Ball Enhancement

A power-up state achieved when Dark Shenron, the corrupted Eternal Dragon, grants a wish to unlock the target's dormant potential, enveloping them in a dark crimson aura that can stack with Super Saiyan forms.

Dark Evolution

A technique exclusive to Demon Gods with exceptional magical power that forcibly pushes a chosen target past their natural evolutionary limits into a dramatically enhanced state.

Dark Ki

A brainwashing technique invented by the sorcerer Zahha in the Dragon Ball Legends storyline that infuses targets with corrupted energy across three escalating stages of intensity.

Dark King

The supreme position of power within the Demon Realm, representing the highest evolution of the Demon God transformation and granting its holder absolute dominion over all demonic forces.

Dark Magic

A corrupting sorcery practiced by members of the Demon Realm Race that forcibly infuses targets with dark energy, boosting their power while bending them toward violence and obedience.

Darkness Sword Attack

Dabura's devastating sword technique that channels demonic energy through his blade, combining physical swordsmanship with dark magical power for lethal strikes.

Dark Towa

A powerful transformation achieved by Towa after absorbing concentrated Demon Realm energy or Dark Energy, greatly amplifying both her physical combat abilities and her formidable magical power.

Data Input

An android-exclusive ability that allows the user to instantly analyze an opponent's movements and predict their attacks, enabling perfect defensive responses.

Dead Zone (Technique)

Garlic Jr.'s most dangerous ability, opening a portal to a void dimension called the Dead Zone that sucks in everything around it like a cosmic drain.

Death Ball

Frieza's ultimate technique: a massive sphere of condensed energy created from a single fingertip, powerful enough to destroy entire planets with casual ease.

Death Beam

Frieza's most frequently used attack: a thin, blindingly fast laser fired from his index finger that pierces through targets with surgical precision.

Death Saucer

Frieza's telekinetically controlled variant of the Destructo Disc. Unlike Krillin's version, these energy discs can be steered remotely to chase down dodging targets.

Demon Hand

Piccolo's ability to extend his arms to incredible lengths, stretching them like elastic to grab distant opponents or strike from unexpected range.

Demonic Will

A power-up technique used exclusively by Dabura, the King of the Demon Realm, to tap into the full extent of his demonic pride and match the strength of Super Saiyan 2 Gohan.
