Summary

With the Evil Eye now controlling Jiji's body, Turbo Granny warns Momo to keep her powers primed. The spirit notices her, slams her into the wall, and pins her while sneering about whether Turbo Granny serves as her slave, which the yokai furiously rejects. Momo pleads for Jiji's return, only to hear that his body is now the Evil Eye's vessel, one he will use to drag her through real torment. He then conjures a domed house built from the grudges of the sacrificed to absorb the Tsuchinoko's electricity, molds that house into a sphere, and boots it at the giant worm, driving it back into the ground. Bewildered, Momo is told by Turbo Granny that Jiji had been prized as the ideal host for the spirit and that she must stay wary, since he stands against them. The Evil Eye lunges at Momo once more, but Okarun blocks him, seething over the harm done to her.

Key Events

The Evil Eye strikes at Momo at once, musing over whether she has enslaved Turbo Granny. To block the electricity that the Great Serpent unleashes, he weaves a cursed house out of the grudges of the slain. He then reshapes it into a ball, kicking it about so it pierces the worm and sends it burrowing away. Turbo Granny backs up Seiko's claim that Jiji counts as a prodigy thanks to his vast spiritual energy and athletic gifts. Momo is nearly overpowered, but Okarun deflects the spirit with a kick before the finishing blow lands.
