Imphal Guild

The Imphal Guild was a small organization in India belonging to the revised timeline. Ali Hassan, who had once lived as a beggar, set it up in Imphal, the city he came from. Though it functioned as its own guild, it never enjoyed real independence.

Authority over the group rested with the Asura Guild, which treated it and several others as subsidiaries. In practice the arrangement amounted to servitude, since the labor demanded of them went unpaid. That resentment shaped how the Imphal Guild regarded its supposed superiors.

Without their knowledge, the guild's members were exploited by Siddharth Bachchan as couriers, handing out Stardust necklaces to Imphal's residents. Many of the guilds beneath the Asura Guild fell to the corruption these items spread, turning into worshippers of the Outer Gods. The Imphal Guild largely escaped that fate because its members distrusted the artifacts.

Ali Hassan grew suspicious that something sinister was unfolding as the city's homeless population thinned, though officials brushed off his warnings. Once Suho and Liu Zhigang revealed Bachchan's experiments to convert humans into Awakened, the Imphal Guild became the very first to side with them. The Shadows of Bachchan's victims had quietly guided Suho to Hassan, a sign of how deeply they trusted him.

Ali Hassan stands as the guild's founder and master, a B-Rank hunter whose background as a former beggar gives the group its origin. He remains alive through the events covered, leading the guild into its alliance with Suho.
