Overview

Nineteenth in the Ragnarok storyline, this arc covers novel Chapters 222 to 234, with no webtoon version yet revealed. It is bracketed by the Asura Guild Arc and the Demon Monarch Successor Arc. The plot opens while Suho is away in India and his shadow soldier Kira, left on duty in Korea, starts cutting down criminals nationwide. The deaths pull intense police scrutiny, but every probe comes up empty. Survivors, many of them victims pulled from harm at the last instant, prove unable or unwilling to picture their rescuer, and the press and populace settle on the name Vigilante. To take a second reading of his magical power, Suho heads back to Korea through Shadow Exchange, a swap that flings Kira off to India.

Summary

The arc's marquee bout is a power test pitting Suho against Ma Dongwook, during which Suho snaps the man's hand and arm. The pivotal moment, however, is bureaucratic. When his mana is re-measured, the reading proves so violent that the gauging device bursts apart, and on the strength of that result he earns formal S-Rank Hunter certification. He then asks for clearance to take the North Korea Field, judging it a prime venue for grinding levels. Earning that permission demands the endorsement of five S-Rank Hunters along with backing from the public.

Those five S-Rankers gather inside the Korean Hunters Association, their first aim being to poach Suho for their respective guilds. Yoo Jinho turns up without warning and floats an offer: sign off on Suho's right to take the North Korea Field Dungeon, and each will get exclusive entry to the simulation built around Solo Leveling, the game made by Ahjin Soft. Deep lore surfaces as well, with the mechanics behind Eternal Slumber and the path to Reawakening laid bare, together with the World Tree's origin, purpose, and whereabouts.

Aftermath

As the arc winds down, Suho carries certified S-Rank standing and is steering toward the North Korea Field push by way of Yoo Jinho's deal. Esil also recovers in full, reclaiming her original strength and rising back to S-Rank level. These threads feed straight into the Demon Monarch Successor Arc.
