Summary

After sweeping the house for paranormal traces, Momo decides the ghost is lying low because its spirit energy is too faint to register, which she reads as a sign the job will be simple. Figuring it will only emerge after dark, she opts to soak in the hot springs and leaves Okarun with Jiji, who offers to teach him soccer. As they play, Jiji asks whether Okarun has feelings for Momo. Okarun replies that he respects her, then listens as Jiji lists everything he admires about her, which spirals into a quarrel over which of them likes her more.

At the bath, Momo relaxes and muses about whether Okarun is hitting it off with his first male friend, unaware that several men are spying on her. Back at the house, the boys' argument is cut short when Jiji notices an odd structure attached to the building. Okarun swings a sledgehammer to break through its wall, and the two find a chamber packed with talismans.
