Amor

Amor is the ability Zommari Rureaux wields once he unleashes his Resurreccion, Brujeria. Named for the word Love in both languages, it grants him control over targets he lays eyes on, a fitting centerpiece for a fighter whose released body sprouts eyes across its surface.

Zommari's released form is studded with eyes, and each one can claim a single target it looks upon, an effect he frames as taking ownership of everything it sees. He tends to accompany the act with a motion of his hands. When an eye locks on, its pupil swells and glows purple, and a sun-shaped mark blooms on whatever it has captured, sealing his hold. Fixing an eye on a limb cuts the brain off from that part of the body, so he can steer an enemy's movements or turn their own strikes against themselves; aiming instead at the head places the whole body under his command. He can manifest as many as fifty eyes at once, giving him a ceiling of fifty simultaneous captures.

The technique is unique to Zommari Rureaux. Byakuya Kuchiki works out that it behaves much like Kido, meaning it can be countered by comparable spells, and he shuts down Zommari's gaze by raising the barrier Bakudo number eighty-one, Danku.
